Farewell Indie 103.1. You fought the good fight that many good men have attempted to fight before you. You tried to stay true to the values and virtues that made your station so great and a joy to listen to. Hold your head high as you venture into the free media known as internet radio. The Vines have seen more drama in the last nine years than the LBC ever will. They’ve endured breakdowns, break-ups, label changes, and a front man suffering from Asperger Syndrome. Pretty much anything that could prove fatal to any of todays lesser experienced rock bands. Through it all, they’ve managed to stick it out long enough to deliver their fourth full-length release entitled “Melodia”.
