Freddie’s Favorites: “Attack and Release”

Nine months have passed since the release of Attack and Release by the Black Keys and I still cannot stop listening. I find myself constantly reaching for it on a drive, a work out in the gym, or just relaxing with some friends. Danger Mouse once again was able to produce a record that got the artist to reach the next level. The duet truly strikes gold with the bluesy rock and roll rifts complimented nicely with hard pounding and in-your-face beats from the drums. The album grabs your attention from the very first song and will not let you turn away or in this case, turn it off.

The Vines Stay Dirty On Fourth Release

The Vines have seen more drama in the last nine years than the LBC ever will. They’ve endured breakdowns, break-ups, label changes, and a front man suffering from Asperger Syndrome.
